Electric Scooters for Kids
Electric scooters for kids add an extra dimension – by adding an electric engine! The electric scooter isn’t designed for flicks and tricks and is definitely not designed to be a stunt scooter but is more appropriate for traveling longer distances without the need for too much physical exertion. Although some electric scooters demand some manual pushing before the engine kicks in many of them will power the ride completely with no physical demands whatsoever.
The Advantages of an Electric Scooter:
An electric scooter for kids will power them along happily with the electric motor at speeds of up to about 10mph (speeds will vary with models and terrain). Electric scooters tend be stronger and sturdier than manual alternatives. The rechargeable batteries can usually last for over 30 minutes of continuous use and safety features tend to include a hand operated brake and also bigger and stronger tyres for added stability and smoothness of ride. You also have the choice of getting them with or without a seat.
Electric scooters do tend to be more expensive than the manual versions as they are obviously coming with a lot more for your money but there are plenty of great value scooters out there from big brand names such as such as Razor and Rocket – names that guarantee quality. Razor are even on the verge of developing their own version of the increasingly popular hoverboard
The Razor brand is a trusted and respected name in the scooter world and their E100 model is a great addition to their expansive range. The E100 is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to fold away for storage and transportation. It comes equipped with everything you need to get you up and running (or rolling!) straight away with assemble tools, battery and battery charger all included.
What they don’t do is compromise on safety. They have larger wheels than the manual alternative and rear brakes that allow you to stay in confident control all the time you ride.
